Veterinary Advances for Dogs

Since 1950, we have invested nearly $60 million in more than 1,220 canine health studies. We’ve contributed to early research that contributed to the parvovirus vaccine and development of genetic tests for heart diseases, eye diseases and seizure disorders. We also are at the forefront of funding cancer studies in dogs, including hemangiosarcoma, lymphoma and osteosarcoma.

Morris Animal Foundation Opens Funding Call for Canine Health Research Proposals

DENVER/March 5, 2026 – Morris Animal Foundation is now accepting pre-proposals for research to advance the health and welfare of dogs, including companion and working dogs.
