Abby

This is our beautiful Abby. She got bone cancer at only age 15 months and had to have her leg amputated. She lived large on 3 legs. We had her with us another 15 months and then lost her when the cancer spread to her lungs. She inspired me so much! I wrote a novel that was based on her in a fictional setting - it went on to become a USA Today bestseller. She really changed my life and taught us to live in the moment. None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow so we all have to make the most of today. We miss that crazy girl so much!
