Amber
Forever in our hearts
Amber was wandering the streets before she made it to our house. I remember the first time I saw her, it was raining and dark, I thought she was a deer. When I got closer and saw how scared she was of the thunder, I opened the front door and she went straight upstairs to my room and curled up in the corner. She knew where to go because she knew she belonged with us. It didn't take us long to fall in love with her and made her a member of our family.
Amber had a short 7 year old life but the years she spent with us, she brought us so much love and laughter. Amber was a intelligent, kind, obedient dog who did not spill an drop of water when she drank from her water bowl, it was amazing. She also knew how to give kisses. If you puckered your lips, she would run up and give you a quick peck then run away.
We miss Amber very much. She was the sweetest dog and we wish we could've had more time with her. She is now in heaven playing with our other dogs and drinking from her bowl of water, not spilling a drop.
