Bailey

Forever in our hearts
Bailey was just a tiny fluff ball running around by the side of a highway. I saw him and stopped to help, and as I opened the car door he jumped in my lap and hung on to me crying and shaking. I took him home, removed all the ticks and the choke-chain embedded in his neck, gave him food and water, and called the Veterinarian for an appointment. Once he was well, I had a wonderful 13 years with him until he unexpectedly went into kidney failure in early December. I cancelled Christmas and worked as hard as I could getting him treatment, but could not save him. I wrote a story about another rescued dog named Cooper, who I almost adopted after Bailey was gone, and it has turned into "Cooper, A Rescue Dog's Story" and the book is dedicated to my sweet angel pup Bailey.
