Bailey Hero 131

Bailey

Forever in our hearts
Golden Retriever Lifetime Study Hero Dog #131

Sandra Martel McKinney Dent New Member · Yesterday at 11:19 AM Hero Bailey, #131, the "wild child" dog that was a self-appointed 'working-dog." Who would fetch things from cell phones under a parked van to newspapers, towels and blankets, leashes and dog bowls. And take out the recyclables to their bin. All for a few words of praise and a petting. Treats were nice tips too. He was my "bestie" but he really was from the start my husband's heart dog. Bailey had such a joy in living, his normal self exalted. He didn't "walk," he danced. He was love, golden love shining from the inside out. He never met any person or animal that was a "stranger." Only a friend not yet met. He loved to "love on" people, and would give full body hugs and try to meld into you. It was not cancer, but an infection; a fungicidal infection of the small intestines. Our hope is still that something from his death will help future generations of dogs

Always a HERO
Greatly missed
Heart Dog
