Bixby

Bixby was one of the most beautiful, inside and out, goldens that I have ever had the honor of knowing and loving. He loved all creatures big and small. He would tap on storm drains just to hang out with the toads in the back yard or push back pine straw to say hello to the worms. Once he was called the "Gandhi of Goldens" when he was at an emergency clinic and was more concerned about escorting the other canine and feline patients to the back than worry about his needs. All he wanted to do was love and please. It was spondylosis and hip displasia that finally claimed this beautiful boy at the age of 13 years and nine months. Even when those legs decided to no longer work, he tried to plug on. It was then we decided to give him his dignity because we could not bear to allow him to suffer for us. He was that once in a lifetime pet that will always be remembered. Rest in Peace Bixby 8/28/2001-5/18/2015
