Blue (Royal Bluejay)

Forever in our hearts
My second greyhound. A goofball who loved every person he ever met. He had a stride that made him look like he was floating across the ground. He once told an animal communicator that he had loved his racing career and that he wanted this photo to be his epitaph. He was so beautiful that I adopted him based on his stunning good looks alone. I lucked out that he was also an amazing dog with a very old soul. He had a good run. He lived until age 12. I got to spend 8 years with him. And he left me totally unprepared and suddenly on a Saturday morning during a snow storm in January. Hemangiosarcoma ended up creeping up on us. Until we meet again Big Poppy. Mumma keeps you in her heart tucked right next to your sister.
