Buddy

Forever in our hearts
Buddy was a pure bred English Pointer from champion line hunters and was diagnosed with Addison's when he was 4 yrs old. I adopted him when he was 1.5 yrs old, he had a good life and was the happiest dog I ever had. I used to say he could of been a Walmart greeter. He loved people, loved going to the vets to see the staff, he was a favorite of all the staff. In February of 2015 he had to have some surgery to remove a mass on his upper thigh. The surgery went well, he had alot of drainage so the vet suggested he stay overnight. The next morning I got the call from the vet to tell me he died overnight sometime after 11:30 when the vet left for the evening after checking on all the surgery patients. The staff got in at 7:30 am the next morning and he was found dead in his kennel. Buddy's vet came in to do his necropsy, she was so upset by his death. They sent samples to be biopsied and the report came back that he had a very aggressive form of cancer and his life expectancy was 72 days. He is missed so much and now I will have to say good bye to his fur brother Scooby in the near future, I found out on Wednesday 9-3-15 that Scooby has tumors in his liver & lung which are cancerous.
