Buffy

A tribute to Buffy. Buffy came to me when she was 6 months old and still looked like a puppy until the day she went up to heaven at 12 years old. Little did I know this little red dog would be the love of my life. She was a funny, smart, affectionate dog who was just happy all the time. She had a big appetite and a even bigger personality. My best friend for 11 and a half years, she went every where with me. I loved her so much. And always will. She was also very protective of me. When she first met my husband she would sit between us so he wouldn't get too close to me. However, it didn't take her long to fall in love with him and he loved her just as much. For many years, it was the three of us. Taking walks, sitting in parks, going every where together. She was always there for us, comforting us, and asking for nothing in return but to be near us. I miss her every single day but I am so grateful for the unconditional love and happiness she brought into my life all those years. I fed and walked her, yet she was the one that took care of me. Thank you, sweet girl. I didn't get a chance to say good bye to you, Buffy but I will see you again in heaven.
