Buster

Never Forgotten

Buster wasn't my dog, but he was a special friend. He lived nextdoor and we visited every time we were out at the same time. I'd get excited any time I would go somewhere at night and see that the porch light was on (they only turned it on when he was outside). I'd drop everything and grab some treats I kept handy just for him and go to the porch where he'd be waiting with a wagging tail. I miss him so much now. I've cried a lot. I hope he knows how much I love him and how much his friendship meant to me.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
