Carmel
Forever in our hearts
Carmel will always be remembered as Princess Wiggle-Butt! She came to us at about age 2 and immediately took over bugging Samson our first golden boy. She was funny, quirky and always needed to be near Sam and her humans. After we lost Sam, she put up with the youngster that took his place, but it was only when foster boy Kingsley came into the home that she was her happy bouncy self again. That sealed the deal and she ensured Kingsley found his forever home with us. Monday, February 18, 2008 she collapsed from Hemangiosarcoma while at the pet sitter's as we were flying back from Minnesota. She passed away within 15 minutes at the Vets as both the Vet and our pet sitter told her how much she was loved. We had to stop and say Happy Trails to our lovely girl when we got back into town. Our hearts still hurt, but we just know that to this day she is giving Samson a run for his money - I can just hear him sighing, oh Mom, it was so peaceful here at the Rainbow Bridge without her bouncing all over me!
