Coco

Never Forgotten

Coco was a prima donna, the ultimate feminine canine.  She liked to be in the house with her family.  She was the protector of the realm.  She and Magic my other boxer were close and when Magic died, she grieved with us.  When we bought home Devil Dawg, our now 11 year old pitbull, she wanted nothing to do with him.  That lasted a couple of weeks and before you knew it, they were cuddling with each other.  Coco took it upon herself to train Devil into being a good family pet and she did an amazing job.  Sadly, she left us a few months after Devil turned a year old.  I guess she really missed being with Magic and decided that Devil could handle things.  And he has done so ever since.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
