Cruz

Cruz was my first "baby", my love, my best friend. I adored that dog with every ounce of my heart. He was only 3 when he got hit by a car and died, and it was one of the worst days of my life. Since then, I've found comfort in laughing about the funny things he used to do, my 2 year old son and I say Hello to his picture every morning and I talk to him on days when I really wish I had him there to hug and kiss. He used to love swimming in the ocean, playing tug o' war, chasing squirrels, he got sprayed by skunks often (he was always up to mischief), he loved playdates with his dog girlfriend Penny, and he was 60 lbs of love that gave us endless kisses and snuggles. He was a wonderful "big brother" to my son, although I wish their friendship had been longer before he left us. I miss him every day, and I'll never stop loving my boy. He will always be in my heart, and never forgotten. I love you, Cruz.
