Denver
Forever in our hearts
Denver was a Golden Retriever that we purchased through a breeder in Wisconsin. He was six weeks old when we brought him home. He was a bundle of joy for my whole family. He was a butterball. We named him Denver because we love going to Colorado and it was not an ordinary name. He was a handful at first and l he loved food. I took him to obedience school and he learned quickly.
WE loved and enjoyed him very, very, very much. He was not spoiled at all, HA, HA. He brought us laughter and eight and half years of love. He was diagnosed with Cancer right after the holidays. He had a lump on the side of his ear. I always checked him for bumps because he would get little ones now and then but they were nothing. He had surgery to remove it, which I regret doing now for I think it caused his cancer to spread. He had Cancer of the Spleen and was bleeding internally. He loved to go on long walks and I continued them as long as he could do them.
Denver died on my living room floor with me, HIS MOM next to him. He is greatly missed and always will be. He is buried and has a tomb stone with his nane on it. He was the joy of our lives and was a big part of our family. He loved people, food, twigs, rocks, walks but most of all he loved his family and we loved him very much. He is greatly missed but will always be in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten.
