Derby

Derby was a beautiful boy who was an amazing retriever and show dog. He loved his "housemate" Charlie and was completely devoted to his Mom. After his second surgery for hemangio, we took a trip to a cottage on a lake for a few days, just the two of us where he got to go into the water, lie on the couch, take lovely walks and just be with his Mom. I miss him every day. He was such a special dog and my first AKC/CKC champion. But he was so much more than his titles. He was my best friend.
