Diddles - The Man, the Myth, the Legend

Diddles was born Thursday, July 9, 2015.  A tuxedo cat and so adorable. On each of his ‘arms’ he had a black spot and if you put his ‘arms’ together the spots formed a heart. We met Diddles when he was just a day old, and Layla knew right then that he was the cat for her.  Layla and Diddles loved each other with their whole hearts. Diddles would cuddle up with Layla every night.  In the mornings, after Layla got up and went to the bathroom, Diddles would let her know it was time for his breakfast. He would follow her and meow until she fed him.  Diddles would wait by the front door for Layla to get home from school and she always spent the first hour after school hanging out with Diddles.  
 

Diddles loved Layla and he tolerated the rest of the family.  As he grew older, he decided we were okay too.   In his last few years, we could hold him and he would purr his little heart out.  I actually have a video of him with Layla and you can hear Diddles purring on the video.  
 

Diddlers- you will always be in our hearts.  You are gravely missed.  I am thankful for the time we got to have with you.
