Forever in our hearts
When I found my little guy we bonded instantly. He was not well, stuck in a glass cage in a pet store at the mall and I knew I had to save him. I needed to get him out of that place and take care of him. He knew it too and cuddled up to me knowing that all would be well.
I did not realize until several years later that it wasn't me who saved a puppy - but rather it was a puppy that saved me!
He was the absolute perfect companion. Sweet and loving even when he stood on top
of me, licking my face over and over until he woke me up for breakfast - at 5am most days! How could I be upset? No way, and instead I laughed at his bravery.
I lost him six and a half years later due to HGE. My heart is broken into a million
pieces and I'm not sure it will ever get better.
I am thrilled I have so many pictures and
videos. I treasure those videos not only
because I can see him in action but because
I can hear his voice. I will never stop
missing him and I know we will be together again some day. Until then my mom will cuddle and love him.
Good night my little doo-doo butt, mommy loves you. ❤️
