This is our Fami Lu. We rescued her as a puppy in the summer of 2006. In November 2014 she became suddenly ill. We took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with IMHA. She fought hard but we lost her suddenly two days later. Fami was always herding us around the house, protecting us from squirrels and birds, and her fur sister from the big dogs at the dog park. She loved running errands with us on the weekends, her walks, and road trips. A month before she passed we took her and her sister to Galveston and let them run up and down the beach. She had so much fun that day. She took a piece of our hearts the night she passed. 8 years wasn’t enough time with our girl but even though she had such a short life she filled ours up with enough love and memories to last us a life time and more. Fami- until we meet at the Rainbow Bridge, we love you our sweet girl and we miss you every day. xx
