"Hallie"

Hallie was a rescue from the Animal Welfare League in Kilmarnock, VA.She was about 5 months old and found on the side of the road in December when it was very cold. We brought her home to be a companion for our 10 year old rescue from MD. "Keller" as she was slowing down and we wanted her to have a pal. Of course Keller had not requested a sibling pup but they soon adjusted and became close friends. Keller lived to be 16 1/2 . Hallie was a LOVE to everyone. She loved children, elders and really never met a stranger. I took her to nursing homes and she would awaken patients to smile and just bring life back into them. Also helped me when I did a little bit of Hospice work, she was a regular little nurse. She made it to 13 before cancer took her from us and our Vet came to the house to help her cross over. We know she is a busy girl on the other side of Rainbow Bridge.
