Hannah

Forever in our hearts
Hannah - our beloved rescue. She came to us at just 1 1/2 years old...a rowdy, misbehaving, goofy, tennis ball loving girl. She grew to become a Princess....or at least she thought she was, especially when she would go into Diva mode. She had a very unique case of selective hearing when she wanted to ignore us when we were telling her "no". She didn't like to be touched when we first got her...after about a year she finally allowed us to "love on her"....though she never really got over not liking her face touched. At 12 Hannah developed cancer...a very scary, trying time for us all....but a wonderful specialist hospital, a successful surgery and great rehab she beat the big "C"! She gained her Angel's Wings just 4 months shy of her 16th birthday...she was no longer walking and hadn't for about 2 months prior. We would take her to acupuncture to help relieve the pain of arthritis and hope to help her gain her mobility back...but it wasn't to be. We decided to help her cross the bridge 6/24/15 but our Princess decided she would take that hard decision away from us and left us the evening of 6/23/15. I was thankful to have a wonderful boss who allowed me to stay at home that day and spend one last day with her....she left us to join her beloved mate, North. They are together again, running pain free. We miss her dearly.
