Henry
Forever in our hearts
If it is possible for a pet to be a soul-mate, then Henry was mine. He came into my life in February of 2004, when he was approximately 1 to 2 years old. He was a victim of abuse; his front leg was broken so badly that it needed surgical repair, and he had no vision in his right eye. I took this fragile little dog into my home and my heart, and he placed his trust in me. Because of his previous history, he was always extremely shy but never aggressive towards anyone, whether human or animal. Henry was with me through the deaths of my father and my late husband, the loss of my job, and the loss of my house. He died prematurely on March 21, 2015, and my world has changed forever. This very special little dog may be gone from my sight, but he will remain forever in my heart.
