Hero Zoe Nash (#257)

Forever in our hearts
Golden Retriever Lifetime Study Hero Dog #257

My sweet angel Zoe, Hero #257 in the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. We lost our sweet girl after a 6 month battle with Type-B Lymphoma. Zoe was a fighter but the cancer won. Daughter Roxie is a clone of Zoe and for that, I am thankful. Zoe was almost 6 years old when cancer stole her away. In those 6 years, Zoe accomplished quite a bit. Zoe was just a "pet" (just a pet, sheesh) but she was also a Mom to 18 beautiful babies, a Hero in the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, a blood donor dog and a fantastic traveler. Zoe loved her mate, Nash Nash (Hemangio, 2 months after Zoe) and her pups that stayed here, Roxie, Jake, and Rigby (close by). She was joyful and oh so very sweet. However, Zoe didn't like it when the puppies crossed her. She was a good Momma dog. She was my heart dog and I miss her every day.

I always loved your sweet Zoe. So honored to be friends with her Mom.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
