Ian
Forever in our hearts
There are countless stories that I can share about Ian. His favorite thing to do (besides eat) was swimming. He would climb right up the ladder, stand on the deck, and wait from someone to throw the ball so he could dive in. He couldn't get enough of it. Besides that, he loved all people. It didn't matter who you were or why you were there, you were going to pet and love him. A simple tail wag was all that it took to fall in love with him. Just make sure you kept your food high and out of reach because as soon as you turn your head your food would be gone. One birthday party, he snuck up and stole a sandwhich right off of someone's plate, ate it up and a minute later he came back for the pickle. It was one of those moments where you couldn't even be mad at him. As many times as he stole a hotdog, got into the trash, and chewed something up, there were twice as many great moments with him. In my opinion, the12 years just wasn't enough with him. We sadly lost him on May 15th of this year. He was my first dog and became my best friend. He's touched the lives of many and I'm so glad I was one of them.
