Jasper
Forever in our hearts
Jasper was 15 when we decided to help her make her final trip to the vet. She had chronic arthritis in her low back which made it very difficult for her to walk without the assistance of a 2 wheel cart for 1.5 years. She also was not able to hold her bowel/bladder at that point either so she had to wear "doggie panties." She was such a tough little girl who never made a peep about how sore she really was. Jasper also had a probable brain tumor of some sort which we think started causing her seizures. This is the only time she ever let us know that she was not happy anymore. It was 12:30 am on July 18, 2015 when we decided she didn't want to have this pain anymore and we made her final trip. She passed very peacefully, not in pain any longer. My wife and I think and talk about her everyday. We still tell her goodnight every night and tell her to sleep well and we'll see you in the morning. She was a good girl.
