Jolie

This is my sweet Jolie. I adopted her in October 2010 from a Golden Retriever Rescue group. She was 7 years old and weighed 115 lbs! With diet changes and thyroid medications she dropped down to 72 lbs in 2 yrs. Jolie had several surgeries for mast cell cancer but came through them like a champion. Always with a smile on her face, a wagging tail, and lots of love for me and everyone else she met. She was my heart and the sweetest dog I've ever met. Jolie died suddenly in my backyard the day before my birthday in 2014; a week before her 11th birthday. This picture was taken just a few hours before she died. I had two other dogs when she died and have since brought home two more, including another Golden Retriever. But, I still miss my Jolie so very much. I look forward to seeing her again someday on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
