Kiki
She came to me as a stray just days after my husband died. A month later she gifted me with 7 beautiful kittens. In her nearly 15 years with me she was so loving and full of joy. She enjoyed gardening, pruning the catnip plant. She was also a gymnast who was fearless. Speaking of fearless, she was a scrappy defender of her family of a son and 2 dogs. She helped me on the computer, driving the tractor, arranging flowers, eating breakfast, catching the mouse that her son brought into the house and so much more. She loved to play hide and seek when it was time for bed. She was well camouflaged and would calmly sit and watch me search for her.
She died of cancer after a short illness and I am missing her so much. Tragically, her son died 4 months later of kidney failure. I try to find comfort in knowing they are now together waiting for me over the rainbow bridge.
Remembering and honoring you every day, in many different ways
