Luna

Luna came into my arms at the local animal shelter, Animal Friends in 1996. She was a baby with a bad cold. When she recoverd she became a constant friend, with her favorite routines. She loved to go outside on her leash and talk to the birds, not even trying to get them. She 'took care of me' as I recovered from knee surgery, always right in front of my husband to gaurd me! As she got older she liked get to the bedroom where we had aircondioning, then she'd flop down in peaceful purrs. She had a stoke one sunny morning outside, I petted her for the minute or so that she lived. The vet came to our home and pronounced her gone, and said she was a good friend. That was last year. She lived a good long life and I'll always keep her in my heart.
