Forever in our hearts
My wife and I obtained Maggie in 1975 as an 8 week old puppy from a breeder in Northern California during my internship at UC-Davis. In 1988 Maggie suddenly was hit with acute monocytic leukemia. Even the Oncologists at the UW-Madison where I was on the faculty had never treated this condition before. She was the perfect companion, both for my wife and I but also for our kids and two cats.
