Maggie

Forever in our hearts
I rescued Maggie when she was 2 years old & she lived to be almost 16 years old. For those 14 years she brought us so much joy & was a perfect addition to our golden family. We've always had a house full of Rescue Goldens & she loved all her adopted brothers & sisters. Right before we left for my 20th surgery at Mayo Clinic, we checked on her but she was in a coma, we tried to rush her to Purdue Emergency Vet, but unfortunately she passed in my car on the way. I held her paw & comforted her & she was trying to wag her tail. It was so hard to say Goodbye, but so happy I could be there with her so she wasn't alone. Maggie had cancer that was inoperable, but was always happy til the very end. I've lost a total of 7 goldens throughout the years & it never gets any easier, but they've all touched my heart & soul. I say I Rescued Them, but really they Rescued Me!! Dogs are truly a gift from God & can brighten your day on your worst day, wish more people were like Dogs!
