Maya

Maya was full of personality and lots of fun. She pushed all my buttons and tried my patience daily. Maya was very attached to the other dog in the house. She thought he was her mother until she noticed he was missing vital body parts.  

Maya loved to nibble on the flowers in the backyard. I was glad I always checked to be sure the plants were safe. She was nibbling on one while I was watering another. I told her to stop three times and on the fourth I sprayed her with the hose. Note to self: Never turn the hose on a white dog in a dirt filled backyard! She never did that again. She was an attention hound until the other dog died and she was the only dog for a few months.

Maya was fun, and sweet. Enjoying attention was a bonus when she visited nursing homes and was a very much petted dog.
