MeToo
Forever in our hearts
I'm writing this story about my husband and the love of his life, Me Too, aka Blackie aka Tazmanian Devil. The Pomerian. No,you think as you view her picture in her dads chair. You might first think she isn't a dog but a tiny black bear. People always gave her a second look. She came to us later in life, dirty, matted and unclaimed. Right from the start she fell in love with Greg. She heartily disliked little boys and men in general. Mistreated we presumed. She had a lot of painful medical conditions that took several doctors to diagnose and a year for her to suffer through. We're sure that's why no one ever claimed her. She lived for her dad and met him every night at the door with a silly little bark that impressed no one.
The rest of the night was spent sitting on Greg and viewing her dominion over the other dogs and cat. Yep, all 5 pounds of her.
Later off to bed to sleep next to her dad and beware to anyone who touched her during
sleep. She definetly had a " off with their heads attitude". Ok, did I mention the Tazmanian moniker.
6:00 am in the morning come work day, weekend or holiday found her walking up Gregs legs, side, stomach or chest to get to the face she loved so much. It was the wake up call that got them up to share a precious
banana and the news. Greg won't eat a banana to this day.
We kept her with us longer than we should have but she taught us a valuable lesson. When it's time please let me go. Know that I love you both.
