Molly
Forever in our hearts
Molly was my beloved golden retriever
She lived only until 81/2. She was so beautiful and loving. I really considered her my soul mate. We did everything together. One day out of the blue she woke up and would not walk or eat. I immediately took her to the Vet. I was told she was bleeding internally and needed to have her spleen removed. I took her right to the hospital for an operation. In the middle of the operation the vet came out to tell me she had cancer and it has spread to her liver. She wanted to know if they should continue or euthanize
Her being she was already under anesthesia
I thought I would die at that point. How can I make such a quick decision without saying goodbye. The vet told me that she would not live longer then 3 months and would need to go through chemo. My world just came crashing down! I didn't want her to suffer yet I didn't want to say good bye either.
Molly offered my family so much love and companionship especially to my ailing father. When I went off to work she would go downstairs where my parents lived and spend the day with them. She loved to take walks with me in the golf course and park, off leash, running and exploring.
