MONA
Forever in our hearts
Mona pounced into our lives on a Christmas eve in 1992. She had us wrapped around her little paw the moment she entered our lives. She enjoyed gardening and enthusiastically used to help us dig holes for us to plant herbs and tomatoes, and her favorite Million Cherry tomatoes. She spent her days protecting the garden from bunnies and birds and other critters. She came down with diabetes in 1999 after losing her vision in 1998. She lost one of her Daddies in September of 2000, which sent her into an incredible depression which took her almost a year to overcome. She took her insulin and made friends with Deer, Moose, and an American Bald Eagle when we moved to New Hampshire, where she gained a mommy, a sister, a crazy poodle, a kitty, and another family with the White family. With a weakened immune system, she quickly developed tumors all over her body and in late 2004, went on to be with her Daddy that was already up IN heaven, ready to welcome her. Have fun with your daddy up at the rainbow bridge...
