Moxie
Forever in our hearts
Moxie was our rescue that we had for just over a year. Boy what a great girl she was. She suffered from a traumatic brain injury and it caused her to be very unsteady on her feet and she wobbled when she walked. Getting up was hard for her but when she got going, there was no stopping her. We called her Wiggles. What a lovely and loving girl she was. She wore a harness all the time except for bed time. She needed it to get up and down stairs and to lift her up from laying down. Her favourite time was dinner time and walk time. She immobility never stopped her. She insisted on going for car rides and walks every single day. She died of lung cancer in the spring a few years back. She may have had a hard life in the beginning but she sure knew what love was in the year we had her.
