Murphy
Forever in our hearts
My husband took me to a home where there were 11 black Lab puppies who were pulled from the floods in Texas in the 1990's. He told me to choose a puppy and I just sat down and let them crawl all over me, and one stayed - and that was my Murphy. He suffered through many tick related illnesses and we almost lost him, but we were lucky enough to have him for 15 glorious years. Murphy was my best friend, and at the end of his life he still loved daily walks, still wanted to be with me, and would have continued on....just for me. I realized one day when he looked up at me that he was telling me it was time to go...so we made the arrangements and brought him home to be buried here at home. A day doesn't go by with out my thoughts going to him, and I will miss him always.
