Nigel

Nigel was my heart dog. He passed away at 10 yrs 1 month and 1 day from hemangiosarcoma. When he passed away my oldest son posted this on facebook: I moved out of my parents house over 10 years ago. Shortly after I got replaced by the first ever family dog. Nigel Gregson passed away tonight, having just celebrated his 10th birthday. Growing up my household never had pets so it was a shock to me when for Christmas the year I moved out my parents bought themselves a pure bread golden retriever. Without a doubt that puppy has changed the course of my parents lives and shown me and everyone around them a different side that I'd ever seen prior. He paved the way for a different family dynamic and essentially tricked my parents into thinking they could ever have another dog so great in their lives. Nigel is survived by his two younger brothers Malcolm and Reznor who I'm sure will take a little while to sink in that big dog wouldn't be coming home again. Personally Nigel you taught me more lessons than I thought a dog who never learned to lift his leg to pee ever could, I love you and I'll miss you.
