We lost this beautiful girl very unexpectedly 4weeks ago. We had no idea that she was sick, she still ran around and rough housed with our lab like always and was eating fine. A hyphema in her eye that appeared a week and a half before we had to say goodbye was the beginning of learning what was happening. It is believed that she had splenic cancer that moved into her liver and then to her chest cavity. She hid her sickness from us and just kept smiling and wagging her tail. Loved that girl and she was my bird dog. She left a big hole in our lives. We have endured cancer in the last three dogs we have said goodbye to. Two of those we lost way too young. Miss you NuNu.
