Paisley

Paisley died within an hour of my kitty, Harriet and within a week of my Corgi, Breeze. All are posted here. That's a lot of loss in one week & my heart is broken. Paisley was 15 years old and died of a ruptured aorta. She was a puppy mill mommy and came to me at 10 years of age having never been out of a cage and having never touched grass or smelled fresh air. It took her a long time to get used to being touched and she was happiest curled up in a corner of my bedroom. That's ok. I was glad to give her 5 years of comfort, veterinary care, grooming, and love. She gave me grace to let her be who she was and the joy of seeing her turn her face to the sun. She loved to lie in front of the fireplace in winter. She was a good little dog.
