Pete

This is our best buddy Pete. He battled nasal cancer and thanks to radiation therapy he returned to his spunky self for his last year. However, it was borrowed time and we lost him on Dec. 26, 2011. He was a week shy of his 16th birthday and even though he lived a long-life in dog terms, it was not long enough for us. He was truly our best buddy and loved accompanying us on Starbucks runs where he often enjoyed a pupaccino. He loved life and we loved having him in our life. Pete was adopted at a shelter at 10 weeks old and to honor him we adopted not one, but two rescue dogs. Our hearts will always hold a special place for our beloved Pete and we miss him terribly. Thank you Morris Animal Foundation for your efforts to find a cure for animals suffering with cancer.
