Phoebe was such a good girl, she was loved by everyone she met.
She didnt deserve cancer.
She deserved life.
You are gone, but never ever forgotten.
We love you Phoebe.
I almost left the tree in its box,
the season feeling too heavy to lift.
But I remembered the way her eyes
caught the light
how wonder lived there.
She didn’t reach Christmas,
but she reached joy.
For a moment,
the room shimmered,
and so did she.
That feels like enough.
