Forever in our hearts
When we first met you, you and your sister were described as spicy, hence your names, Poblano and Serrano. After losing our dog, Pablo, six months earlier, we weren’t sure that we were ready for a puppy or two, but when we saw your faces we couldn’t resist.
Though we only got to love you for two months, the mark you left on our hearts will last the rest of our lives. The grace and strength you showed in the face of such a horrible illness is so humbling.
We miss you so much. Thank you for letting us love you.
