Rudder
Forever in our hearts
Skin and bones when she found us. Broken and re-healed back leg. Heartworm positive. Who'd have guessed that she'd live to be 16, and would delight legions of pilots and flight students at our small airport. Rudder lived for people, cheese, and chasing tennis balls, and could happily carry three at a time. She was very crippled when she wanted something she wasn't getting, but jet-propelled when chasing her tennis balls.
Memorial transferred from our previous Remembrance Gallery.
