Sadie

Forever in our hearts
Sadie was an amazing golden retriever with a laid back personality. Even as a puppy she was calm and gentle. She was definitely a special golden and holds a very special place in my heart. She loved to sit or stand outside and just let the wind blow her hair and ears. She was one happy dog! In her later years brought back to life a little bit when my sisters 3 year old black lab came to live with us! They spent their days together and he always wanted to play with Sadie, which kept her young. Sadie just turned 11 when we found out she had squamous cell carcinoma (a rare nasal tumor). It effective her quite rapidly and we only had a couple months with her after finding out her diagnosis. She was just a sweet, gentle, and love girl who loved her toys and belly rubs! I'm so thankful to have my golden that I do now. She is completely opposite of Sadie and is a very active golden! I'm so happy to be apart of the Gold Retriever study to show my support for all the dogs who have passed due to cancer. Thanks Morris foundation!
