Sammy

Forever in our hearts
Sam (aka Sumo Sam) was our big 22 lb. boy. He came to live with us along with his two sisters 8 years ago. His sisters are still with us; Sam died recently from what we believe was cardiomyopathy (my husband is a veterinarian). He possessed the same beautiful green eyes as his sisters. Sammy was a purr-er, a big chicken, loved to cuddle with me and his sister Maddie-Caddie and was a good-natured lug. I always teased that we needed to shop in the "husky" department for him and said if I could start a "fat cat camp," he'd be my first official camper! He was actually a muscular solid boy. He died too soon at about 9 years old, unexpectedly. I still think I see him coming around the corner at mealtime. Miss you Sam-Sam!
