Forever in our hearts
Sarge. Big beautiful boy. Funny, joyous, bossy, sassy, soft Sarge. Nudged me awake. Danced all the way to his food bowl. Whined softly when he was ready for bed. Loved to run. Loved riding in the truck. Loved nose work and swimming. Loved to cuddle. Loved me almost as much as I loved him. He came to me at 10 weeks and left me 6 and 1/2 years later. I know he didn’t want to leave me. He kissed my nose and cuddled in my lap as we said our last goodbye. That was Sarge.
