Sasha

Sasha was a beautiful loyal border collie who was taken from us way too soon. We found a lump one morning took her to the vet and she had lymphoma and died about 5 months later. Asha hadn’t turned 6 years old yet. I had always thought a dog’s life was way too short and thought it so unfair that they generally only live to around 14 years old if they are lucky. I thought in my heart that Sasha was going to be the exception and she was going to reach the grand old age of 20. If love had anything to do with it she would have lived till she was 50. So I felt so cheated when my beautiful girl didn’t get to reach 6. I know everybody on this remembrance site will say their dog was special so I won’t be an exception. I truly believe Sasha was sent to us from above to help us get over the loss of a very much loved family member (my Sister Nessa). Nessa died 10 years before we got Sasha and we were still grieving until we got Sasha. I truly believe that Nessa sent me Sasha because as soon as I got Sasha I felt that love…that only I shared with my lovely sister. It was like having my Sister’s love with me again and all my grief went and my heart was filled with Love. To help me get over the loss of my beautiful Sasha I believe Sasha sent me my present border collie Asha...they are so similar in so many ways that it is like having Sasha back again. I believe I was blessed from above to have been given two special border collies Sasha Kells 17/06/2005 - 07/04/2011 RIP
