Savannah

Forever in our hearts
Savannah entered my life as an 11-week-old puppy. She was half sister to my heart dog, Bronwyn. I'll never forget her breeder telling me that she had a golden puppy that she was going to keep, but if I wanted to come see her, I could decide if I wanted her. Pulling into her driveway I saw this little fluffball running around the backyard. How adorable she was. Bronwyn gave her seal of approval and home she came with us. They shared the same mother but different fathers. Savannah had more of her father's temperament - a tom boy vs a girly-girl. Our back yard for the first 6 months looked like a mine field - her motto was "dig I must". Savannah was my constant shadow, following me everywhere. She had such a desire to please. An inoperable brain tumor stole this beautiful girl from me in 2 months. I swore I would not let her suffer and I kept that promise to her. I know she's in Heaven with Bronwyn, waiting til we can all be together again some day.
