Scout

Scout was my 4th Golden Retriever. He passed away suddenly July 31, 2022. I miss him dearly. He was an exceptional companion as we shared our lives together in a remote northern WI location. He loved the seasons particularly the winter. He was truly a snow dog. He was trained to co-exist with the many animals and birds from the national forest that butt our property. Scout was trusted by the many animals that came to visit as he was trained to sit and watch the deer within just a few feet. The red squirrels would play with him especially his big bushy tail by teasing him. The bear even brought their cubs over although we were quite cautious and usually made a trip inside just to be safe. He loved the water and rides in the boat. He loved to play and snuggle at night on my lap and look into my eyes. So many stories, so many adventures, so many memories. Miss you and love you Scout with all my heart!
