Since my early 20's I have shared my life with six Goldens (and a few really, really great mixes!). All but one of my beloved Goldens were lost to cancer. I remember each one with a smile, a sigh, and a tear. Simon had just turned 7 when we had to say goodbye. He was the one that held that special place in my heart. He is also the one who made it ok to bring Finnegan (now 16 weeks) home a few months after his passing. I know, without a doubt, that each and every one of my dogs are waiting patiently for me...
