Sir "Dante" of Kirkwood Lassen

Forever in our hearts
I saw Dante for the first time when he was only 2 days old. At 4 weeks of age I fell in love with him. He was sitting in the corner and his 12 brothers and sisters where running all around. I picked him up and that was that. At 5 weeks of age I started picking him up from the breeder and taking him to work with me then return him when I was going home.At 7 weeks of age I took him home He learned how to ring a bell to go outside at 8 weeks of age. I tried to teach him to pick up his toys but found that I was doing all the work. I took him to work with me for 18 months he was very gentle. when my grandson would climb into Dante's crate Dante would go in the take my 5 year old grandson's arm and bring him out very slowly. For the first 5 years it was just Dante and I and I must say I fell in love with him more everyday. I have loved and watch many pets leave this world but for 15 years I never loved any pet as much as Dante. I lost him to Cancer April 20, 2015. I miss him every day and feel very blessed that he picked me to be his owner.
